FAQ

  • Think of your first session as a friendly conversation. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what you’d like to explore and how therapy can help while keeping things relaxed, comfortable and judgement-free.

  • The pace is flexible and unique to each person. We will figure out a rhythm that fits your life, goals and what feels most helpful. Depending on what is happening for you, we may meet more often during challenging times, or pause as things begin to settle. Something I truly believe; Therapy is helpful, even on your best days, to help integrate the good moments in life!

  • I work with people of all ages who are seeking therapy- children, teens, adults and families. Everyone is welcome and I tailor my approach to fit your needs. If you are unsure if my services are a good fit for your child’s needs, please book a 15-minute meet with me.

  • Yes! Everything you say stays with me. That is a core part of building a foundation of trust. There are a few situations where I am legally required to share information-like if someone’s safety is at risk-but I will always explain these clearly. Otherwise, the space is yours to explore, be free and heard without judgement.

  • Not at all! Therapy is for anything you’d like to explore–big or small, life changes, growth, or just getting curious about yourself.

  • That’s completely okay and more common than you think! Many things can affect the therapeutic process; timing, modalities, relationships etc…Here, we will focus on what works for you.

  • My fees are:

    Individual sessions - $160 for a 50 minute

    Family sessions (info coming soon)

  • Currently, I provide receipts for reimbursement with insurance companies. If you have benefits, they most likely cover psychotherapy. However, if you are unsure, please check with your place of employment. I am not currently an NIHB provider, but I am actively working toward enrollment. I am happy to still provide receipts to clients to submit for  reimbursement where possible

  • Life happens! I get it. Just give 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. This helps me keep the schedule fair and offer space to someone else. If a session is missed without notice, I will charge the full fee. Thank you for understanding– this helps to keep our time together valued, consistent and supportive.

  • Yes! I offer virtual sessions so you can access therapy from the comfort of your own space whether you’re at home, on the road or somewhere in between. Accessibility is priority! Same safe space, just online.
